Liberal Responses to Reagan Death

Those message boards are just disgusting. I can't even imagine Republicans behaving in that way at the death of a Clinton or Gore or a Teddy Kennedy or even a Chirac. I don't think there's an American politician alive today, democrat or republican, that I would be happy died because I disliked them for their policies. Maybe a few "republican" morons would post stupid stuff too I guess if someone died.

But it's funny, because republicans are supposed to be the mean, uncaring, cold son's of bitches. It just seems to be the opposite. I've never seen such hatred like I see on message boards. It's just so sad. Maybe it's just a very small vocal minority. I don't know. I hope so.

Those 17+ years were a mess for this country. The only positive thing was the civil rights act. The moon landing was fun too. But between Kennedy being shot, leading into Vietnam, leading into Watergate, and then culminating in the disasterous Carter administration. We were a mess.

Reagan brought us back. Economically, militarily and pride wise. Mistakes were made OF COURSE. No one is perfect. No administration is perfect. But I will not even debate the greatness of Reagan with the "venomess" gotham. "If you were a bit more reflective in an objective way - your messages might not fall upon deaf ears." Reagan always had amazing timing and he's doing it again. He's going to lift our spirits again as we reflect on his legacy during these trying times AND he'll overshadow that hump, Clinton on his book tour.

It's a funeral atmosphere again at the Democratic headquarters, not because Reagan is dying and they're compassionate people, but because of all the sentiment that a state funeral will bring.

"Why oh why couldn't he hang on until December!?" Well, maybe he will. He's the gipper. Or maybe he's leaving the stage right on cue.

Gipp's last words was when he said to Bush: "I've got to go, George. It's allright. I'm not afraid. Sometimes the largest attack in a country's history and the subsequent fallout in stock markets, and fear amongst it's citizens can cause an economy to tank. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. If Bush took office and 9/11 never happened and he couldn't repair the economic situation that Clinton left him with, then fine. Say whatever you want. Don't like the war, I disagree, but fine. Don't like his social policies, fine. But if you have no common sense and no background in economic philosophy, you really should either A. keep your mouth shut, because you embaress yourself or B. take a look in the mirror and decide if you're are a blatant partisan like Limbaugh or Franken or a level headed honest person who can look at a situation and see the truth without being blinded. And for those who think I'm a blinded partisan, all I'll say is I'm a fierce independent, who has views on both sides of the fence depending on the issue and depending on COMMON SENSE. I will start my own politcal party one day called "Common Sense." The Sense party. It'll appears I'll probably have about eight members. I'm done with you. Kindergarten is over. Wise up. Be honest. Response to a stupid person

Since I have the Presidents ear..
A. 30 more days of diplomacy? You must be high. Be against the war or for the war but dont say ridiculous things like "30 more days of diplomacy." There was 12 years.
B. Social Security will be bankrupt unless something is done about it. Both republicans and democrats know this. It's no secret and if you weren't brain washed by the democratic propaganda machine, you wouldn't worry about "Bush taking away your social security."
C. Raise the minimum wage. Sure, why not. BUT WAKE UP. Poor people wont work their way from poverty because they raise the minimum wage. It's obvious your problem solving skills aren't all they should be. Poor people need alot more help than an extra $42 dollars a week in their pay check. Personal responsiblity and hard work is the only way to work your way out of poverty.
D. Trickle down economics DOES work.
E. The Haves deserve to have MOST OF THE TIME(some are evil garbage like the CEO's in ENron etc) The have nots deserve to have not MOST OF THE TIME(some hard working good people have caught bad breaks, but if their truly hard workingm they will work their way out of it) This is called CAPITALISM. If you want everyone to have equal amounts of everything, move to Cuba.

G. Health Insurance sucks. Right now I don't have insurance, but whose fault is that? Mine. I decided to be a screenwriter. I could have gone another way and have plenty of money for health insurance or work where it is provided. Through MY CHOICE, I didn't. If something happens, my problem. NOT THE AMERICAN TAXPAYERS. We can not and will not move to national health care program. The abomination and burden this would be on the tax payer is incomprehensible. PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY. We are responsible for our own actions and situations. And no one is denied medical care for not having insurance. There are free clinics and emergency rooms that must treat you.
H. Car emissions. Not a big worry of mine, because planet earth has been here for six billion years and will be here for another six billion years. When it gets tired of humans, it will get rid of us. And besides, THE ONLY reason people care about emissions is global warming and I have solved the problem. When the ice caps melt we will dig canals from coastlines deep into the Nevada desert, deep into the African desert, and I'm sure there are a few more deserts around the world..lol...and the water will drain and the coastlines will be saved and those new desert area made made lakes/oceans will become wonderful tourist attractions. PROBLEM SOLVED!! ( on a side note, I will tell George that we need to invest billions in alternative fuel. Not because of global warming, but so we can tell the mid-east to F'off!!!!)

Iraq War

For me, Saddam's sad existence is enough FOR ME to justify our presence in IRAQ. Hey, maybe it's cause I'm not married or I don't have any children, or maybe I have major mental problems. But I personally I'm willing to confront evil and die if necessary. Just knowing that those sadistic sons of his are dead, makes it all worthwhile to me. I'd love to help out a woman being mugged, a store being robbed, a nation being brutalized. I don't have a death wish though. Each scenario has to evaluated. You help when you can help. We were able to help the people of IRAQ and help ourselves. What is the point of having a United Nations security council if no one is willing to act to enforce. I always talk about hyporcrisy of the liberals. How long would a liberal parent make threats and put up with their teenage son who tells them to "f'off" or drives drunk. Longer than a conservative, who believes in discipline. But they would at some point take his car away, ground him, take away his cable. Whatever. Saddam thumbed his nose at the U.S, broke all of his cease fire agreements, told the U.N. to "f'off." And basically said to the world, "I'll do whatever I want." Someone and thank god that someone was President Bush said, "No." And look what's going on...Libya, falling in line, Iran, nuclear inspections, falling in line. North Korea, slowwwly, but falling in line. Bush did the greatest thing of all time. Instead of being the parents who never follows through on his threats. He took Saddam's car keys, removed his TIVO from his room, and told him he's not leaving the house for the next month. The other children thinking "mom and dad are not fooling around anymore." What liberals do though is divide the parents. "Dad said I was grounded for a month, mom?" Mom gets a little wishy washy, thinking that it's too harsh. The parents start fighting and before you know it, the son has the car back and his TIVO and he won. Divide and conqour. And the terrorists know that a few bombs here and there and mom(liberals) start swaying and before you know it, most of dads(conservatives) power is gone. It's a shame.

As far as Al Queda. I agree. It's very frustrating. That's why we need the unity of our country and the unity of our allies. Great job Spain. Well done. The war will not be won until the United States and/or our allies take another massive hit. It's too bad that 9/11 didn't do it for us.

What do you stand for?

What do you or do you not stand for? I think the ability to analyze certain situations is a good thing. Not EVERYTHING is black and white. But a lot is. Republicans are obviously pro-taking the fight to the terrorists. Liberals aren't. But I would have to seriously analyze the situation as would other Republicans if Bush said, "We're invading Iran!" Whooa. Slow down. Why? What? Republicans are a lot more firm in their beliefs than democrats and there IS MUCH less hypocrisy coming from our side. But they're all hypocrits. Everyone whose career and financial future is based on convincing people to vote for them are hypocrits to some degree. Liberals just much more. Sorry.

Liberals should thank god for Republicans(this has changed over the years, so I'll just say strong people who are willing to put their lives on the line and fight for a cause when it becomes necessary) because if it wasn't for those people the world would be in slavery or headed in that direction under a few evil pieces of garbage.

It's a balancing act. It's good actually. Sometimes mistakes being made cost us. Right now, it's the liberals who are making the mistakes in a sad attempt to re-live the sixties and get behind a cause like they saw in Forrest Gump or any hippy movie or story that they've seen and read about. It's not the sixties. This is not Vietnam. It could definetly turn into Vietnam because of the lack of support. The lack of support actually causes the worst case scenario. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy. But whatever. I'm just one man.

Why I MAY want Kerry to win

At this point, I think I want John Kerry to win for a few reasons.

A. There's nothing I enjoy more than the hypocrisy of the liberals. It's just laughable. Republicans are firm in their views. They don't flip flop back and forth based on who's in charge or the polls. When Clinton signed the welfare reform act, we were for it. Silence from the left. If Reagan or Bush had signed it, they'd be marching in Washignton. Kosovo, Republicans were for. Albeit, we questioned Bubba's timing, but we were for it. Democrats, silent or for it. If it was Bush, marching in the streets. If Kerry takes over, we'll still be behind our troops and the war in Iraq and any terror battleground. Kerry has already said that we shouldn't "cut and run." So, I would guess that means he plans to stay and finish the job no matter what. So if many more troops die, I can't wait to see Michael Moore's film about that. I can't wait to hear Al Franken yap about that. I can't wait to hear Babs talk about how we must get the troops out immediately...LOL... yeah right. There will be silence across the board from the democratic party and that brings me to my next reason for JFKerry.

B. The silence. I'm so tired of the whining liberal. It sounds like a zoo attraction. "Over across the vista are ten whining liberals." Whining and complaining all day long every day. I feel like a frustrated husband whose whiny, skanky, unappreciative wife just doesn't shut the @#%$ up. Fine, we'll go to your stupid friend's house Friday night. I don't want to. I'm disgusted about it, but anything to just get you guys to shut up. And we'll all live with the consequences. Which is fine. This country is doomed anyway. It's just really a matter of when at this point. How long before California succeeds from the union? How long before a arch terrorist or rogue nation takes out a city. 2008? 2050? 2134? Whatever. We're doomed because the melting pot has become a cupcake tray. It's a shame, but all great empires eventually fall under moral disarry and internal strife and fighting. What can you do? Don't Come Cryin' to Me

"Don't come crying to me" when San Diego is destroyed in 2015 because we didn't take care of the problem when we had the chance. They still live in a dream world of John Lennon's IMAGINE and the sixties. It would be nice of course, but wake up. As long as parents who have no ability to raise children are having children, evil mother'fers will be born and have to be dealt with. Others just hate our country because ours is so much more fun and so much wealthier and so much stronger than theirs. You don't hear any criticism out of the Fins. They have a great country! They're not jealous of us. They are happy content, secure people. They look at us and say "good for them." Canadians are jealous. It's like living in a shack next to Bill Gates for those folks. It's a shame. We aren't perfect. We've made mistakes. But the United States of America has always been there to help. Every disaster, every war that we could have stayed out of, but didn't. I quote my good friend Brian, who just did an amazing job where we were working together, but never got the respect he deserved. "They'll miss me when I'm gone." And one day, when our country crumbles, which is where its going, because of loud mouths like Michael Moore, planet earth will miss us. Human beings, enslaved will miss us. It's out of my hands. Global Warming Solved

My plan for solving "global warming." IF global warming is true and the ice caps melt, all we need to do is build giant canals on all continents that flow into the deserts or deserted areas. These canals will flow into man made lakes/oceans that will allow the rising water to drain and the coastlines will be saved. Into the CA desert, the South American deserts, the African deserts and FRANCE...lol...anyway, problem solved. New tourist attractions and economies for those areas as well. A massive engineering feat but a brilliant plan.

Why the terrorists hate us

They hate us for being free. They hate us for backing Israel. They hate us for Iraq1. They hate us for being rich when they live in crappy homes with no air conditioning. They hate us for everything. They are the jealous losers of planet earth. Do we abandon Israel, a tiny sliver of land, in a massive Arab/Muslim world? Look at the map. The Jewish people just want to live on that TINY sliver in peace. And for 50 years they haven't been able to. Now, they've made mistakes as well along the way. But Clinton did it. He solved it. Israel came all the way over in compromise and Arafat was too much of a wimp to stand up to the radicals in his country. He turned down the offer of a Palestinian state. He blew it. So what should we do? Tell Israel, sorry and good luck. You back up your friends and allies. If that means the jeaolus losers of planet earth hate us and keep trying to blow us up, then so be it. Because eventually, they risk anihilation. Its sad they hate us so much. It will destroy them. Not us. You can blame OUR FOREIGN policy all you want. Because in a sense it's true. But our foreign policy is the right foreign policy. So, where does that leave us. It leaves us with Michael Moore being a loud mouthed, liar...lol...I had to get that in there. It leaves us on the brink of a true world war. Us vs. The Muslim world. It's sad, but true. This back and forth will go on for awhile and then it'll be 2007 or something and thousands more Americans will die in some sort of attack and then its the destruction of the Arab world. The U.S. will have no choice. BUT that could be avoided, IF people supported the President right now instead of emboldening the terrorists with their anti-war speeches and NY Times editorials and plummeting Bush job approval #'s. Any clear thinking American could have predicted this, because most people are wafflers. They support the war until they see on TV that maybe others aren't supporting it as much and they switch. No moral fiber. Afraid to speak up at a dinner party. Whatever. We'll just keep shooting water pistols at a raging fire until BOOM. And then we'll have to come back hard. The way the Chinese would. Imagine the Chinese were attacked the way we were. Oh boy, whoever is responsible is in trouble. Friends of those responsible are in trouble. Cousins twice removed would be responsible. And you know what. As heavy handed as that might be, they wouldn't be attacked again. That's for sure. But we live in a democracy and that is great. Thank god. But it would be nice if every once in awhile the people with very little problem solving ability, could get it together so we could be united and strong and face this problem and fix it.
