Global Warming Solved

My plan for solving "global warming." IF global warming is true and the ice caps melt, all we need to do is build giant canals on all continents that flow into the deserts or deserted areas. These canals will flow into man made lakes/oceans that will allow the rising water to drain and the coastlines will be saved. Into the CA desert, the South American deserts, the African deserts and FRANCE...lol...anyway, problem solved. New tourist attractions and economies for those areas as well. A massive engineering feat but a brilliant plan.
